Travel by jeep to the Indian Canyons, a lovely collection of scenic canyons once home to the Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians. Sit back and enjoy views of desert flora and fauna as your naturalist guide shares the history, culture and legends of the Cahuilla and the many amazing uses they found for desert plants.

Disembark the jeep to stretch your legs on a 1-mile walk up Andreas Canyon along a lovely stream shaded by palms. See old bedrock mortars and the sacred mound where the Cahuilla believed their creator, Mukat, lived. Head out on his is a small group tour into Joshua Tree National Park conducted on an exciting luxury H2 Hummer.

Enjoy complimentary pick-up from any hotel in the greater Palm Springs area. Your air-conditioned Hummer will protect you from the intense summer heat or even the cold winters experienced in the high desert. Entering through the famous West Entrance of the park outside of the city of Joshua Tree, visit the Inselberg rock formations along with the largest and oldest Joshua Trees inside the park.  Travel both surface roads and 4 wheel drive back roads far from where others dare to go. This area is world renowned as their most popular rock destination in the winter. End your tour by stopping at an "ole west" saloon for optional barbecued lunch or dinner.

We provide a complimentary pickup at your hotel in a luxury H2 Hummer. Our eco-guide will then take you to see the crack of the infamous San Andreas Fault. Hidden in an oasis, a bridge goes directly over the fault to allow you to see the water gurgling out of the crack. Several migratory birds take refuge in the cool of the Palms in a place that looks like a scene from the movie Jurassic Park. 

Your tour climbs into Joshua Tree through the West Gate to take you on a scenic backroad journey through forests of Joshua Trees and to take an optional hike around the famous rock formations. Stop for a spectacular view from one of the highest points in the National Park where you can look down to see Palm Springs some 5500 feet above.

At tours end, a 45 minute stop is made at a classic western saloon for a no-host barbecued lunch or dinner. Featuring the famous High Desert Willy Boys Saloon with decor and atmosphere that takes you back to the "ole West" and food that put the finishing touches on an amazing desert experience.
